The packaging principle

1. Position the inlay

Our sustainable Eco Save Pack inlay is used to securely hold fragile vials in place inside the folding carton. The inlays are automatically formed and positioned to hold the product. Alternatively, solutions without an inlay or with a plastic tray are available.

2. Infeed

The vials are gently and precisely fed into the packaging line using pick-and-place robots. Controlled handling minimizes the risk of breakage and ensures reliable product transfer to the subsequent process steps.

3. Cartoning

Using the side-load process, the vials are gently and precisely inserted into the folding carton. This process offers a high degree of flexibility for different packaging concepts and allows for the easy integration of leaflets, brochures, or other product components.

4. Serialization and aggregation

Our CPS systems handle the printing and verification of serialization codes directly on the folding carton. Our CPA modules then ensure secure aggregation throughout the packaging hierarchy – from the folding carton to the shipping case and finally to the pallet.
