Depending on the machine configuration, different packaging materials can be processed on the same packaging line. For example, a line can package vials today, syringes tomorrow, and then combination packs.

4 steps to your goal

1. Inlay erection

For the secure fixation of fragile vials inside the carton, our sustainable Eco Save Pack paper inlay is automatically erected and prepared for product loading. Alternatively, packaging solutions without an inlay or with plastic trays are also available.

2. Product feeding

The vials are gently and precisely fed into the packaging line using pick-and-place robots. Controlled product handling minimizes the risk of breakage and ensures reliable product transfer to the subsequent packaging steps.

3. Cartoning

Using the side-load cartoning process, vials are gently and precisely loaded into the carton. This method offers maximum flexibility for a wide range of packaging concepts and allows the easy integration of leaflets, brochures and additional product components.

4. Serialization and aggregation

Our CPS systems print and verify serialization codes directly on the carton. The downstream CPA modules then ensure reliable aggregation throughout the entire packaging hierarchy – from the individual carton to the shipping case and pallet. All Track & Trace processes are centrally managed and controlled by our CPI software platform.
